THE LONDON EXPERIENCE

The London Experience, sponsored by the Honors College at Georgia State, provides students from all majors with the exciting opportunity to intern in London and the United Kingdom. Internships are available in a wide range of areas, including hospitality, finance, fashion, the arts, media and the sciences. These internships will help students gain international perspective, global experiences and valuable career-related insight.

Students can intern with a variety of organizations across London, including:

BDO: Assurance, Tax, Financial Advisory, and Consulting

BDO delivers assurance, tax, financial advisory and consulting services to clients throughout the country and around the globe. It offers numerous industry-specific practices, world-class resources and an unparalleled commitment to meeting clients’ needs. BDO is looking for motivated, innovative students in any major (not just business majors).

A global marketing and technology agency that transforms businesses for the digital age. DTI Global: Global Legal Process Outsourcing

DTI is a global legal process outsourcing (LPO) company serving law firms and corporations around the globe. Founded in 1998, DTI leads the industry in litigation, discovery, court reporting and managed services. We help corporations and law firms of all sizes lower overhead costs, reduce risk, and streamline document and electronic data management—so they can focus on their core business. DTI Global is looking for Honors College students with a pre-law focus or background in computer information systems or other business-oriented focus.

Fulham FC

Fulham Football Club is a professional association football club based in Fulham, West London, England. Founded in 1879, they currently compete in the Premier League, the top tier of English football, following their promotion from the EFL Championship in the 2017–18 season. This would be perfect for any Honors College students interested in sports marketing and getting experience in the most popular sports league in the world.

Hansard Society (Political Research and Education Charity)

Honors College students from all majors who are interested in policy or research should apply. The Hansard Society is the UK’s leading independent, non-partisan political research and education charity. Currently serving as Parliament’s “record keeper,” students will assist with policy research in both London. Internships with Hansard are available for both the summer and fall semesters and are tied to classes with the London School of Economics.

HM Government of Gibraltar

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland, on Spain’s south coast. This opportunity would be with representatives of Gibraltar in London and is perfect for students interested in British politics, international relations, or law.

IMAX: Entertainment Technology Company

IMAX Corporation is an entertainment technology company, specializing in motion picture technologies and large-format motion picture presentations. Leading the way in immersive theatre experiences since 1968, a culture of innovation is at the very core of IMAX. From the introduction of stadium seating, to developing the highest-resolution camera in the world, to our laser projection technology and our partnerships with the world’s best filmmakers, there is no one like IMAX. Imax is looking for an Honors College student who can make a longer commitment (around 6 months). The internship will focus more on the business side of the company as opposed to filmmaking although it still may be a good fit for Film and Media majors with a business background.
