This application is intended for use by currently enrolled Georgia State students, transition students and transfer students. Admission to the Honors College is competitive, which means that admission is offered to the most highly-qualified applicants on a space-available basis. Please review all application requirements and guidelines prior to submission.

NOTE: This application should not be completed by current high school students, whose Common App materials will be evaluated by the high school student review process.

HOW TO START AN APPLICATION

The Honors College application uses the same platform as the Georgia State University Admissions Portal. You will be asked to provide the same login credentials that you used when you applied to Georgia State.

 

Returning Users

If you still have access to the email used on your Common App, you may log in as a returning user and start a new application. If you are unable to access your account as a returning user, you may act as a first-time user.

 First-time Users 

Create an account to start a new application using your current Georgia State student email address. Your application will be reviewed in the same way.

 

After successfully logging in, click Start a New Application and proceed to the 2024 Honors Application to begin your file.

Please pay careful attention to all instructions while completing your application. Applicants are responsible for ensuring all application materials, including the required recommendation form, are received by the Honors College by the specified deadline. Incomplete or insufficient applications will not be evaluated.
