One of the privileges of being an Honors College student is that you can receive priority registration. Honors College students in good standing (3.3 GPA or higher) get first priority for registration after graduating seniors. We have also compiled a list of frequently asked questions that may assist in registering for Honors classes.


Registration FAQs

You can find your registration date for the upcoming semester by logging into PAWS/GoSOLAR and looking at your time ticket.
You only need authorization to register for honors directed readings and thesis coursework (HON3690, HON4870, HON4880).
After your proposal is approved, you will receive authorization to register for these courses.
Yes, with permission from your Honors College academic advisor.

A current student with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher may take one Honors course before he/she decides to apply for full admission to the Honors College (for which a GPA of 3.5 is required). Please note that priority consideration for course seats will be given to current Honors College students.
