Internships are an essential part of the Honors College experience and can be a transformative experience. The Georgia State Honors College works diligently to help place students in a variety of internships across Atlanta, in Washington, D.C. and across the United Kingdom.

We believe that through internships, students develop career related skills and abilities and the chance to apply classroom knowledge and skills in a professional environment. They learn more about a career field and gain a better understanding of what the professional environment is really like. These experiences also give students the ability to develop a network of professional contacts and develop a mentoring relationships with professionals. An internship can serve as the launching pad for a lifetime of achievement.

Honors College students are currently interning at a variety of offices, corporations and non-profits including:

Georgia Aquarium
Munich American Reassurance Company
