Honors College students are urged to meet with their departmental advisors, as well as an Honors College advisor.

Our Academic Advisors (Jacob English, April Lawhorn and Jessalyn Murphy) can assist you with general advising questions, as well as questions regarding how to earn Honors Distinctions.

You can schedule an Honors academic advising appointment by either coming into the Honors College office (100 Auburn Avenue, Second Floor) or calling us at 404-413-5577.
Our advisors are available for quick, drop-in questions during the following times: Tuesdays 10 – 11 a.m.; Wednesdays 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.; Thursday 2 – 3 p.m. If you have an in-depth questions, or want more than 5 minutes with an advisor, we encourage you to make an advising appointment.
Yes, under special circumstances. If you are unable to come into the Honors College Office, we can arrange to speak with you over the phone. Please discuss this with the individual you make your appointment with. However, we urge you to come in and speak with us in person.
Honors academic advising appointments typically last around thirty minutes.
Appointment time vary from week to week. However, our academic advisors typically see students Monday through Thursday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Friday before 1 p.m.
